The European Patriot – SAMP/T Air and Missile Defense System
SAMP/T (Sol-Air Moyenne Portée/Terrestre: surface-air medium range/land) is a land-based air defense system produced by Eurosam (MBDA and Thales). An upgraded version, SAMP/T NG is due for serial production in 2025. The next generation SAMP/T comes with hit-to-kill missiles and an AESA radar with 360 degrees coverage.
